7 Favorite Apple Theme Preschool Toys For Your Fall Classroom

Have you been looking for apple theme preschool toys? I love to theme my classroom toys and materials to match the seasons and units we are exploring. Since Fall is the air, I will be sharing with you my 7 favorite apple theme preschool toys that I use in my classroom.

Toddler Fall Lesson Plans

New Apple Toys

I am very excited to share with you some new apple toys that I got for my classroom. Let’s get started!

1. Learning Resources Hide & Seek Learning Treehouse

This first toy is a classroom favorite. This Treehouse is made by Learning Resources. I love this toy for many reasons. I can use this Treehouse in multiple ways in my classroom. It is a great sorting toy, you can sort the apples by shape, color, or numeral. It’s also a great fine motor toy that allows the children to hide the apples behind the doors found on the tree. The children also enjoy sending the apples down the chute at the top of the treehouse and they fall into the barrel.

2. Learning Resources Apple Attributes

The second apple theme preschool toy I am sharing with you is a set of 27 plastic apples. This is another apple toy made by Learning Resources and is called Apple Attributes. These are really nice, durable apples. My favorite way to use these apples is in a sensory bin. They are a great size for working on pincher grasp, sorting, classifying, and comparing.

3. Learning Resources Apple Fractions

My third favorite apple theme classroom toy I am sharing with you is Apple Fractions. These are magnetic apples that can be sectioned. They are great for introducing fractions in the older grades, but with my toddlers, I love using them in our Science Center when we learn about the life cycle of apples.

4. KidKraft Create and Cook: Apple Pie

I love creating Dramatic Play Centers in my toddler classroom. Using this Create and Cook Apple Pie, I created a simple, apple bakery dramatic play center. I love this KidKraft Apple Pie set because it has a good amount of pieces but the pieces are large enough for my little toddlers to play safely with it. They love to slice the apple over and over again with the included plastic knife.

5. Wooden Lacing Apple Threading Toy

The next apple theme preschool toy is a wooden lacing apple threading toy. This is a great fine motor toy that teaching hand-eye coordination and encouraged independence. I like to use this wooden lacing apple threading toy as a table toy in my classroom.

6. Apple Pop On It Fidget Toy

This next toy is a new classroom favorite. These pop-on-it fidget toys have become very popular in the last year, and I am loving them. This Apple Pop On It was a perfect addition to my fall toy collection in my classroom. I have a calming corner where the children can go if they are feeling overwhelmed or tired. I have placed one of these Apple Fidget toys in that center and they are very calming to the children. Another way I like to use this in the classroom is to hand one to an early riser. You know the ones, the toddlers who wake up from naps before their friends. These are great to keep them occupied but also quiet while we finish up naptime.

7. Wooden Apple Tree Magnetic Toy

The last toy I will be sharing in this post is another great Apple Table Toy. This Wooden Apple Tree Magnetic Toy is perfect to allow children to apple pick. This wooden apple tree is also great for working on counting skills.

Apple Theme Books

Bonus, I will be sharing with you my favorite apple theme books. I have bought so many apple theme books over the years. Working with toddlers, I am PICKY about my books. I do not want them to be lengthy reads. Toddlers are working on developing their attention spans. By keeping books short and sweet allows them to feel success in sitting through a whole classroom book. Here are my favorites.
