12 Amazing Spring Story Books For Toddlers
Spring is in the air!
I have been busy switching my classroom library to spring story books for toddlers. I LOVE spring; the birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming, and I begin to get excited about the warmer weather ahead.
A great way to introduce the season of Spring to young infants and toddlers is through simple, easy-to-read storybooks.
As a toddler teacher, I get asked how often should you read to your child? My answer ALL THE TIME! Little ones will respond well to stories they can relate to in their world.
After reading a story about a muddy spring puddle, throw on those mud boots and go for a walk. After reading a story about a bird making a nest for her babies, grab some construction paper and glue and let the children create a bird’s nest.
Writing lesson plans around a favorite classroom storybook is a great way to relate the book to the world around them.
Here are my favorite Spring story books for toddlers.
All these books are short reads, perfect for infants and toddlers. Most of these books can be found at your local library. If you can’t find them locally, click on the image to purchase them on Amazon. All links are affiliate links.
