Looking for Christmas activities for toddlers that are intentionally Christ-centered this holiday season? I have 8 Christmas activities for toddlers that focus on Jesus that your little ones are going to love! Get ready to celebrate the birth of Christ by playing and exploring these Christmas Activities with toddlers!
Let’s get started! In my toddler classroom I set up a Christmas shelf devoted to Christ-centered Christmas activities so that when the holiday season starts to get busy with all the hustle and bustle, we don’t miss the true meaning of Christmas, and the hope we have in Jesus.
Christmas Activity Printable
The first Christmas activity printable I will be sharing with you is a Christmas puzzle for toddlers. These Christmas puzzles are only two pieces so they won’t overwhelm little ones. My students love putting these together over and over again! This Christmas activity printable can be found in my Nativity lesson plans.
Nativity Toys For Toddlers
My favorite Nativity toys for toddlers is my Fisher Price Nativity. This toy is so durable and has been in my classroom for 14 years, think of all the little hands that have played with this adorable toy!
Christmas Activities For Toddlers Printable
The next Christmas activity for toddlers printable I am sharing is a color match game. My toddlers love to match linking cubes with each corresponding color card. This Christmas activity is a perfect way to introduce colors or review colors with your toddlers.
Stable For Jesus
I have a great construction game for ya that we call a Stable For Jesus! If you don’t have Magna-Tiles, this would be a great Christmas gift for your classroom! This toy is so versatile, I am constantly pulling them out and the kids go crazy for them! For this Christmas game, we just used the red and green Magna-Tiles to create a stable for Jesus. Once the stable is constructed, the kids place the Holy family in the stable. I love how creative my students get with this, and how each constructed stable looks different.
Christmas Matching Game
I have a super fun Christmas matching game for you. We call this matching game Animals with Baby Jesus. Pull out those fisher price farm animals! This activity is a guaranteed hit! Your little ones will match the real-world animal cards with a fisher price farm animal. This Christmas matching game is also a great vocabulary activity as well as you identify the animals with the children and make the sound of each farm animal. If you don’t have fisher price farm animals, no worries. You can print two copies of Christmas activities for toddlers and use them as a matching game.
Christmas Sensory Activities For Toddlers
Want easy Christmas sensory activities for toddlers? Themed sensory bottles are my favorite way to add sensory development to my toddler classroom! By gluing the tops onto the sensory bottles, I don’t have to worry about little objects making their way into tiny mouths. Check out Hobby Lobby or Dollar Tree to snag items to put into sensory bottles. Out of the four Christmas sensory bottles, my students love the jingle bells and the snow one the best.
